ORDERING

All books are offered subject to prior sale. If you are especially interested in a particular book, I recommend that you order by the speediest method available to you.

In most cases, this is probably by email or by phone, 520-326-8831. If I am not available, orders and messages may be safely left on my telephone answering machine. If you leave your number, I'll call you back to confirm your order or to answer any questions you many have. Mail orders are also welcome.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and Novus cards are accepted for payment as well as checks and money orders in U.S. dollars. I also can accept payments through PayPal using the email address: mike@janusbooks.com.

Arizona residents will be charged 7.6% sales tax.

Books are returnable for any reason within ten days of receipt. Please wrap carefully and send insured media mail. You will be reimbursed for the return costs. An explanation would be helpful, but it's not mandatory.

SHIPPING

All books are carefully wrapped and shipped in new boxes. I do not use mailing envelopes unless specifically requested to do so.

Shipping rates, of course, depend upon the weight and value of the package. As a guide, for a book weighing less than three pounds with a value of $50 or less, packing and shipping by insured media mail within the U.S. usually begins at $4.50. Insured priority shipping for the same item within the U.S. can be between $6.25 and $8.05, depending on your zip code. Heavier and more expensive items will cost more. We will quote media mail and priority shipping costs when you order.

Customers outside the U.S. should inquire about postage and insurance rates before sending a check. I will quote both surface and air rates when I reply.
